Percentage Boers: Here are the White House Goats percentage does and one nubian. We have built our percentage herd around a few foundation does. Wisdom, our first Doe of Excellence, is the matriarch of the herd and stands watch over her daughters, granddaughters and two great granddaughters. Our percentages have to have the same characteristics as our full boers -- good mothering, easy kidding, good milk for the kids, and muscle & structure of course.

DATE BORN: Jan 21, 2000 ABGA REG#: 10156169 PERCENT BOER: 50% (dam was nubian) Owner: Elise Conlee Happy Birthday Wisdom! She's 10yrs old now and still the strong herd queen. She delivered a spotted paint doeling on 7/1/7/10 with Alibi. Already this new little girl looks like she will follow in her sisters' footsteps - every previous Wisdom daughter has won points in the ring. COMMENTS: Words can't describe this doe. She is an enormous doe carrying immense amounts of muscling, depth, and width. It takes both hands to cross the width of her loin and she is as big as most 2-3 yr old bucks. Wisdom won her online goat class in Feb. 05 and won the 'viewer's choice' award; the comments from judge Marvin Shurley were "Nice doe with the spring of rib and body capacity needed to pack kids and forage both. Nice type of doe.". Wisdom is a 50% doe with ennobled Kaptein and DSM Kala on the topside. She is the kind of doe that is a pleasure to see in your field, and has a wait-list for her doe kids. We have kept her 2005 doe, Stinger's Savvy, her 2006 doe, Warrior's VooDoo, and her 2010 doe (not yet named). Her early 2007 doe, Warrior's Trilogy went to Valley View Boer Goats and her 2009 doe went to Lucky Clover Boer Goats of Colorado. COMMENTS:VooDoo is a solid red doeling out of our huge 50% doe, Merritt's LH Wisdom (Doe of Excellence), and sired by Warrior (Sire of Merit). We are proud of this doe. She is long, well-muscled, and also feminine. She carries her head up and tracks wide. At 10mo old she'd earned 70 ABGA pts and had her three junior USBGA wins. She had twin does sired by Stinger in December 07. Both daughters have followed in her footsteps and done well in the ring -- see Vertigo and Legacy's records. Update: she has kidded two more times, both times with quads. No ketosis or soundness issues in carrying four kids to term with this huge doe.

We're thrilled to have this doe who can win the 4H cracker eating contest one day and then win Champion % doe in the USBGA show the next, and have her daughter as Overall Champion FB/PB doe in the abga show the day after that. She is sired by our buck *ennobled* Stinger and out of Wynnshire Smooth Mabel -- a dilute paint 50% Boer / 50% nubian doe. Bambi wasn't large as a kid but has grown into a very large doe that has consistently produced quick-growing nice kids. Bambi has kidded four times -- first time with spotted triplets, second time with spotted quads, and third time with two spotted and one red kid, and fourth with three spotted kids (12 out 13 kids have been spotted). |

She is a granddaughter of ennobled Dow Pipeline, and her dam was one of Mary Wynne's amazing nubians. Thanks to Cathy and Maresa Snyder for allowing us to have this doe. She has produced several sets of colorful kids by Stinger. She milks a gallon a day when not feeding kids and won the 2009 Clark County butterfat contest with butterfat of 6.78%. |

DATE BORN: June 12, 2007 Percent Boer: 50% boer Owner: Elise Conlee COMMENTS: HotSpot had twins at her first kidding as a yearling- a dark red doe now owned by Friday Creek Farm and a spotted boy that went as a bottle pet so that Hot Spot could raise two fb spotted kids. She took the two kids without needing held a single time and fed all three kids very well. One, Reflection, was sold as a stud buck and the fb doe Galaxy is one of our keepers. Thanks to HotSpots excellent mothering and milk production. |

DATE BORN: Feb 18, 2008 Percent Boer: 50% boer Owner: Zoe Conlee COMMENTS: This tri-colored spotted doe is out of Dotz, our red/cream spotted nubian and sired by Warrior. You can see from comparing Confetti's color as a newborn and then at 4mo old (below and left), that some of her grey spots are turning cream, the black is staying black, and white staying white. It will be interesting to see her final spotting pattern!

Gypsy had twin does by Warrior in winter 09 -- one almost entirely dappled and one red. The dappled doe, 'Calico Cat', won 10pts her first time in the ring at 6wks old. |

DATE BORN: 2/16/09 Percent Boer: 50% boer Owner: Elise Conlee COMMENTS: Calico Cat, or "Kitty" is a highly dappled daughter of Gypsy (above). She was first place at April Fools at a month old (see photo at left) where her coloring earned her the nickname "Mossy Oak". The dark grey faded over time to the red-dilute dapple coloring. She is so highly dappled that only on her legs can you find much of the dark red base coloration. She is bred to RNSH Valentine's Coaco for summer kids. We're hoping her kids are LESS dappled so that you can see individual dapples. |
